Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe
1/2 kg Carrots
1/2 litre Milk
1 tsp Cardamom seeds
3/4 cup Water
6-7 chasew nuts
Wash and grate the carrots. Soak the raisins in water for 30 minutes.
Blanch and shred almonds
Take a frying pan add ghee when it is hot add the grated carrots.
Stirr and cook it for 10 mins .
Add the milk ,cashew and khowa. Cook on a low flame for 1 hour stirring in between.
Add sugar,cook till the sugar is dissolved and all the milk has been absorbed.
Add the slightly crushed cardamoms and the raisins. Mix well.
Remove halwa from heat and pour in a serving dish. Garnish with almonds. Serve it hot .
